What can you expect from this training?

This basic training course will familiarize participants with the terminology and basic principles of instrumentation (mechanical and electrical) and common measurements (temperature, pressure, level and flow). It will also provide participants with a considerable gain in experience, enabling them to increase their general knowledge in the field.

Participants should have a basic knowledge of electricity and mechanics.

  • Fundamentals of electrical, mechanical and control engineering
  • Temperature: sensor types, wells, transmitters
  • Pressure: types of measurement, manifolds, capillary systems
  • Level and flow: overview of the main measurement technologies available, with their advantages and constraints
This course is designed for engineers and technicians responsible for specifying, selecting and maintaining the various measurement and control points.
